Project Info:

Under the project to supply the electricity and heating needs of households in Bayan-Ovoo Soum, Umnugovi Province with renewable energy sources, grid-connected 8 kW, 10 kW, and 20 kW solar PV systems, heat pumps, and 15.36 kWh, 20.48 kWh, and 40.96 kWh energy storage systems were installed for a total of 16 households. All installation and commissioning works were successfully completed, and the systems were inspected, accepted, and put into operation by the Commission on 30 July 2026. The project owner was the Governor’s Office of Bayan-Ovoo Soum, while Electro Engineering LLC served as the design consultant. Based on the detailed engineering drawings prepared by Electro Engineering LLC, G-Power LLC acted as the General Contractor, and Power Tool LLC acted as the Subcontractor, successfully completing the implementation of the project. The primary objective of the project is to provide households in the soum center with a reliable, environmentally friendly, and sustainable energy supply, while meeting their electricity and heating needs through economically efficient solutions, reducing household energy costs, and increasing the utilization of renewable energy. By integrating solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems, and heat pumps, the project provides a comprehensive solution for household electricity and heating demand. At the same time, it reduces dependence on centralized energy sources and represents a significant practical implementation of green energy technologies in rural Mongolia.
